Our 2025 Telethon calls to alumni will be taking place between 30th October and 27th November.
A current ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É student will be calling you soon to share updates from today’s University, hear your memories of ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É, and learn what you’ve been up to since graduation. We love hearing how your time here helped shape your journey - and how the University continues to live on in your story.
They’ll also invite you to support The ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund, which focuses on enriching the student experience through initiatives that provide an element of additionality - such as scholarships, bursaries, wellbeing and employability activities and more. Your support helps ensure that today’s students benefit from a university experience shaped by care, opportunity, and the lasting involvement of alumni.
As someone who studied at this great university, we hope you’ll help us continue this important work. Your involvement can open doors, nurture potential, and empower a new generation of ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É students to achieve their goals.
We hope you'll enjoy talking with one of our current students, if you have any questions,
The Development and Alumni Relations Office runs the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund Telethons every spring and autumn, spanning four weeks on Sunday through Thursday evenings.
During the campaign, our student calling team reaches out to alumni to connect, reminisce about their favourite memories, and support their alma mater.
As part of the alumni community, you may get a phone call from one of our students to talk about your time in ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É and about the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund.
The ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund aims to support as many projects as possible that add a margin of excellence or an element of ‘additionality’ to the student experience.
Our team of students have recently completed our spring telethon campaign with great results. Our wonderful alumni have pledged to give a further £62,000 to the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund over the next five years. These gifts will allow The ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund to provide extra bursaries, field trips, well-being activities, sports opportunities, and services, which all make a tremendous difference!
Persida Chung, Development Officer, said, "The Telethon provides a great opportunity for student callers to connect with past generations of ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É students, to share news and experiences while strengthening the wider University community. We are particularly grateful to all alumni and honorary fellows who generously took the time to share their insight into their post-ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É lives and careers. The advice and words of encouragement given to our students as they are about to make significant decisions hold immense value to them."
