Dermal filler products contain a clear gel made of strands of Hyaluronic Acid which is a naturally occurring substance and is already found in our skin. As we get older the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin diminishes, making skin appear more wrinkled and less elastic, skin becomes more dehydrated, volume decreases and gravity pulls the skin down resulting in folds and sagging. When introduced into the skin, dermal fillers replenish our own natural supply of hyaluronic acid, binds water into the skin and instantly smooths out wrinkles and folds thus restoring a more youthful appearance, where needed they can also restore volume and enhance definition to specific areas of the face.
The Dermal filler range of choice at Lumiere is Emervel or Restylane, they come in different variations of products depending on the areas of usage.
Our lips are personal to us all, as dentists we know that a warm smile can break down barriers and is one of the first indicators of friendship and receptivity. Your smile is often the first thing people notice so it’s important that you are comfortable with your smile and we offer several enhancements to produce your desired look.
As we age our lips can become dehydrated and thinner due to many factors and sometimes lose symmetry. Lip treatments are an effective way to restore volume, balance and definition and so produce a more youthful appearance
Emervel Lips now known as Restylane Kysse has been specially formulated to integrate into the delicate area of the lip tissue to create beautiful looking lips that are soft and natural, we can define lip line/ border, enhance or lift your cupids bow by adding definition as well as enhance your lip volume.
Using a softer finer product such as Emervel Touch (Restylane Finesse) we can also reduce visible smoker lines and lift the mouth corners to give you a happy smile.
The products contain Lidocaine, a local anaesthetic to make your treatment as comfortable as possible, in addition as dentists, we can numb your lip area with a dental injection and therefore completely numb this area before treatment.
Cheeks, Cheekbones, Jawline, Nose,
We know that little changes can have a big impact on your appearance and confidence so Using a more volumising product such as Ermevel deep or volume (Restylane define or Volyme) we can add definition to your cheek bones, jawline or nose to achieve a more desired facial balance and definition. At your initial consultation we will discuss your concerns and walk through how much or how little will achieve the results you desire.
As we get older the skin loses hyaluronic acid, volume and elasticity and may no longer reflect our vitality and inner sense of youth, here at Lumiere we would love to partner with you and help restore the outward appearance to match your inner youthful vitality.
Deeper lines and wrinkles tend to form between the nose and mouth, ( naso-labial folds) and lower face (marionette lines)
Unfortunately gravity also has an effect and some of the less elastic, less volumised areas start to sag
Using a firmer more volumised product we can restore volume in some of this soft tissue areas and so gently “lift” the facial tissue to produce a fuller more youthful curve to cheeks, and more defined jawline. We can also soften and reduce deeper lines and wrinkles, around the lower face.
Restylane skinboosters can be a great compliment to dermal fillers for those areas with finer lines or areas of skin damage such as acne scarring, smokers or sun damage. They are clinically proven to offer improvements to skin condition, gradually increasing elasticity, improving roughness and reducing the appearance of fine lines and other imperfections such as acne scars.
We administer the skin boosters over a defined area of the face to be treated using a canula technique. This eradicates the need for multiple injection sites and so makes the treatment more comfortable and reduces down time due to minor post op bruising.

I visited Lumiere clinic to discuss facial aesthetics with Dr Light as I was not certain about the procedure. Lisa was very professional and spent time discussing what would be best for me.
