Nuclear energy has played a key role in the region for many decades and the end of the Magnox era has opened up new opportunities, with two exceptional nuclear licensed sites 鈥 Wylfa and Trawsfynydd on our doorstep 鈥 and a rapidly growing industrial and academic resource at 亚洲色吧 and our science park, M-SParc.

Since its inception in late 2017 鈥 the Nuclear Futures Institute has built fabulous facilities that are being used by leading industry stakeholders to aid nuclear technology development. We are ready and open for business."

BUFFF will provide a first-of-a-kind, innovative platform that enables users to study the manufacture of ceramics including nuclear fuels and other nuclear materials.

BULLET is part of the Advanced Fuel Cycle programme (AFCP) with NNL to develop the UK鈥檚 first academic flowing Pb facility to test Advanced Modular Reactor (AMR) materials and fuels.
