ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund backs new sexual health resources for students
The ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund has helped Undeb ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É, the Students’ Union, with their initiative to improve students’ sexual health and wellbeing. New resources and content have been developed to ensure students feel informed, supported, and confident in their relationships.
Working with The Sex Education Company, the Undeb ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É delivered a well-received Q&A session where students could anonymously ask questions about sex and relationships. This safe, stigma-free space encouraged open dialogue and highlighted key areas of concern, including pregnancy options. In response, a new video was produced covering abortion and how to access support, now part of a growing library of educational resources.
The campaign also addressed recent legal developments around sexual choking, commissioning a video to raise awareness of its risks and legal implications. Another video focused on Endometriosis, offering facts and advice tailored to students, including how to seek help at the University.
Tara Hine, the Undeb ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É’s academic advice and welfare projects coordinator, said,
We know that students want to feel safe, informed and respected in their relationships. This campaign is about giving them the tools to make confident choices, ask questions without fear, and access support when they need it. It’s been incredible to see such positive engagement from students, reaffirming how important this work is. Thanks to the support of the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Fund for making this important work possible and for helping us in creating resources that speak directly to students’ real experiences.

These initiatives continue to break down stigma, promote informed choices, and support student wellbeing. You can access the videos on sexual choking, pregnancy choices, and endometriosis at , and view the Sexual Health Q&A session on .
